Supporting UNDIP’s Vision as a World Class University (WCU)
UNDIP’s participation in the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education Conference and Exhibition 2026 (APAIE 2026) marks a strategic step in strengthening its transformation toward becoming a World Class University (WCU). This international forum, which brings together hundreds of global higher education institutions, serves not merely as a promotional platform but as a concrete instrument to systematically and sustainably fulfill various WCU parameters.
The transformation toward a World Class University is not solely about pursuing global rankings, but also about enhancing broader societal impact. In this regard, UNDIP continues to uphold principles of conducting research that addresses national and regional challenges, fostering innovation that contributes to sustainable development, empowering communities through academic expertise, and promoting international collaboration that generates local solutions (global knowledge for local impact).

This step underscores that internationalization and community engagement are not separate endeavors; rather, they mutually reinforce each other in UNDIP’s journey toward becoming a dignified and impactful World Class University.
