UNDIP, Semarang (10/4) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), through its Directorate of Student Affairs and Alumni, held a Socialization of the National Student Competition in Business, Management, and Finance (KBMK) on Friday, April 10, 2026, starting at 08:00 WIB at the 3rd Floor Hall of the Purwahid Patrik, S.H. Building, Faculty of Law, UNDIP Tembalang Campus. The event aimed to provide an understanding of competition mechanisms and strategies, foster collaborative character in business and management, and prepare students to compete at the national level.
The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, representatives from the Directorate of Student Affairs and Alumni, Vice Deans for Academic and Student Affairs from the faculties/schools, and UNDIP students participating in the session.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Ir. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, emphasized UNDIP’s strong support for KBMK and announced incentives for students who win at the national level.
“UNDIP will provide appreciation for national-level winners in the form of one semester of free tuition, course/thesis conversion, and university incentives,” he stated.
Prof. Heru also expressed hope that UNDIP students would succeed and bring pride to the university in this year’s competition. “We hope the UNDIP flag, the Diponegoro banner, will continue to fly high in national competitions,” he added.
The KBMK 2026 socialization featured three expert speakers in the fields of business, management, and finance: Ardiaz Ajie Aryandika, S.Kom., MBA, Dhaifina Idznitia Apriyani Naimi, S.M., M.B.A, and Tita Alfaricha, S.AB., M.A.B.
The first session, delivered by Ardiaz Ajie Aryandika (FEB UNDIP lecturer), explained the KBMK 2026 guidelines, including general and specific requirements, as well as UNDIP’s internal selection process, which involves multiple rigorous stages. Success in passing the selection depends on document readiness, the quality of ideas/products, and alignment with the competition theme. “Each university can send a maximum of five delegates, so UNDIP conducts strict internal selection. Pay close attention to requirements, document readiness, idea quality, and relevance to the theme,” he explained.
The second session, delivered by Dhaifina Idznitia Apriyani Naimi (FISIP UNDIP lecturer), outlined the timeline and proposal preparation for KBMK 2026. Internal registration at UNDIP runs from April 13–18, 2026, with results announced on April 20, followed by video production on April 23–24, and final submission on April 30, 2026. “Video production will collaborate with UNDIPTV to ensure high-quality output,” she noted.
The proposal template requires a comprehensive analysis, including PESTEL, Value Proposition Canvas, Business Model Canvas, and realistic financial projections. Proposals must also demonstrate strong market validation, technology-based innovation, and be supported by real products and relevant documentation.
The third session, delivered by Tita Alfaricha (FISIP UNDIP lecturer), explained the competition criteria, emphasizing students’ ability to develop innovative business solutions grounded in strong analysis and aligned with current economic and technological issues. “For example, if you choose an idea related to the F&B sector, it must include innovation—not just common ideas,” she emphasized.
