UNDIP, Semarang (23/4) – The Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Unit of Universitas Diponegoro (UPT K3L UNDIP) organized a Free Health Check-Up and blood donation program for lecturers and staff within the UNDIP Central Office. The activity took place on Thursday, April 23, 2026, on the 1st Floor of the UNDIP Library Building.
This initiative is part of UNDIP’s commitment to creating a healthy, productive, and sustainable work environment. Through this program, UNDIP aims to foster a culture of healthy living within the campus while supporting national health programs. In its implementation, UPT K3L UNDIP collaborated with Wongsonegoro Hospital (RSWN) Semarang, Bulusan Public Health Center, and the Faculty of Medicine (FK) UNDIP.
Head of UPT K3L UNDIP, Dr. Bina Kurniawan, S.K.M., M.Kes., stated that the activity is conducted regularly as a form of care for the health of lecturers and staff. “We ensure that the UNDIP academic community remains healthy and productive. Through this examination, any health issues identified can be followed up through available healthcare services,” he explained.
The health check-up services included blood pressure measurement, weight and height assessment and health consultations. After completing the check-up, participants were also allowed to donate blood in a designated separate area.
This program aligns with the Indonesian Ministry of Health’s initiative to encourage routine health monitoring through the Healthy Living Community Movement (Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat / GERMAS). Additionally, the blood donation activity demonstrates social responsibility by helping meet the community’s blood needs.
Through this initiative, UNDIP hopes to continue playing a role not only as an academically excellent institution but also as one that provides tangible benefits for its academic community and the wider public. (Public Communication/UNDIP/AKS)
