UNDIP Performance Earns “Outstanding” Rating from Board of Trustees Chair

UNDIP, Semarang (24/4) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) has once again achieved a notable milestone. For its institutional performance throughout 2025, UNDIP received an “outstanding” rating from the Chair of the Board of Trustees (MWA), Prof. Mohamad Nasir, M.Si., Akt., Ph.D., during the Three-Organ Meeting held on April 22, 2026, at the UNDIP Senate Hall.

The Three-Organ Meeting is a strategic agenda mandated by Article 28, paragraph (2) of Government Regulation No. 52 of 2015 concerning the Statute of Universitas Diponegoro. It serves as a coordination forum among the university leadership, the Academic Senate, and the Board of Trustees to strengthen modern, transparent, and accountable governance.

The meeting was attended by university leaders, members of the Academic Senate, members of the Board of Trustees, and the Director of Resources of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Suning Kusumawardani, S.T., M.T., who expressed support for strengthening national higher education governance.

The main agenda included the presentation of the 2025 Performance Report and the synchronization of the 2026 Work Programs from the three university organs—Rector, Academic Senate (SA), and Board of Trustees (MWA)—moderated by the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Ir. Agus Indarjo, M.Phil.

In his presentation, UNDIP Rector Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., stated that overall achievements across various strategic areas in 2025 exceeded the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). He emphasized that this success was the result of strong collaboration among all members of the academic community and organizational units.

“The year 2025 marked a strengthening of our institutional foundation. On average, KPI achievements exceeded 100 percent, indicating that UNDIP’s work system is becoming more effective and capable of delivering tangible benefits to society and the advancement of science,” he explained.

Significant achievements were recorded across multiple sectors, including improving graduate quality through the link-and-match implementation, enhancing budget efficiency and strengthening infrastructure for the Tridharma, digital service transformation, human resource career development, and enhancing global reputation through improved World Class University (WCU) rankings and increased reputable international publications.

Meanwhile, Chair of the Academic Senate, Prof. Ir. Tri Winarni Agustini, M.Sc., Ph.D., reaffirmed the Senate’s commitment to maintaining academic integrity through quality assurance and policy harmonization. Throughout 2025, the Academic Senate actively provided strategic considerations for the establishment of new study programs and the development of academic positions for lecturers.

“Every academic policy must be grounded in the highest quality standards. Therefore, all strategic academic proposals must undergo objective, professional, and accountable evaluation processes,” Prof. Tri emphasized.

On the same occasion, the Chair of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Mohamad Nasir, M.Si., Akt., Ph.D., expressed high appreciation for the effectiveness of the Rector’s leadership and the entire university management in achieving strategic targets. He also highlighted the importance of strengthening financial independence through the optimization of productive assets and the development of a Science Techno Park (STP).

“We give an outstanding rating for the university’s achievements and leadership effectiveness. Moving forward, the Board of Trustees will focus on strengthening the endowment fund as the foundation for UNDIP’s sustainability and independence,” he stated.

This recognition reflects UNDIP’s progressive steps to enhance educational quality, expand research impact, increase societal contributions, and accelerate its goal of entering the top 500 universities worldwide.

The three governing bodies of Universitas Diponegoro reaffirmed their joint commitment to strengthening institutional synergy to elevate UNDIP’s reputation at both national and international levels.
