Semarang (11/6) – Diponegoro University is continually striving to improve its internal quality, including in the fields of research, implementation of science and technology and community service. One of the ways to develop these sectors is through partnership cooperation as a form of governance. This task is the responsibility of Diponegoro University Research and Community Service Institute (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat / LPPM) in carrying out Undip’s vision into real works and providing beneficial results for all.
The duties of Undip Research and Community Service Institute include striving to increase lecturer capacity and access capacity, as well as considering university policies. Undip Research and Community Service Institute is also responsible for creating a conducive academic atmosphere for increasing the quantity and quality of research and community service, and one of its newest programs is the establishment of Sharing Workspace of Undip LPPM. The room, which is housed in the 4th floor of Undip Tembalang ICT Building, will later be used as a co-working space that can be used by Undip lecturers and educational staffs as a place for discussion and brainstorming in finding the latest innovations and ideas.
The inauguration of Sharing Workspace of Undip LPPM is led by Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. by cutting the ribbon as a symbolic inauguration, accompanied by Chair of the Academic Senate and Chair of Board of Trustees. The Deans of Faculties and Schools as well as Heads of Institutions and Agencies also attend this event.
This newest room of LPPM carries the concept of sharing workspace, with various concepts of comfortable rooms full of complete facilities. There are meeting rooms and sharing workspaces with various capacities ranging from small to large groups, and equipped with a pantry. It is hoped that this Sharing Workspace of Undip LPPM can provide new enthusiasm for Undip lecturers and educational staffs, so that it becomes the place full of brilliant ideas that can support Undip’s progress to become a World Class University.
