Semarang-Central Java (01/11). The Rector of Diponegoro University (Undip) officially dismissed and appointed the Dean of Vocational School, Head of Departments, Chair and Secretary of Study Programs within the Faculty of Engineering on Monday (01/11). The event was held in the Hall of SA-MWA Building, Undip Tembalang Campus at 03:30 PM.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., Vice Rectors and Dean of Faculties of Diponegoro University. The event was started by singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya together and continued with the reading of the Decree of Rector of Diponegoro University Number 5131/UN7.P/KP/2021 and Number 5134/UN7.P/KP/2021 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of the Dean of Vocational School, Head of Departments, Chair and Secretary of the Study Programs in Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University.
Undip officials who are inaugurated will later occupy several positions, namely the Dean of Vocational School, Head of the Departments, Chair and Secretary of the Study Programs for the 2021-2026 term of office. In addition, there are several officials who have been honorably dismissed from their positions.
Accompanied by their respective clergy, Undip officials were sworn in before the Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M. Hum. Taking the oath of officials was carried out according to their respective religious beliefs.
In his speech, Undip Rector congratulated and thanked the newly inaugurated officials and the officials who had been dismissed. “I congratulate all of you who have been sworn in to your new position. I also thank the officials who dedicated their work for Undip,” said Prof. Yos.
In addition, Prof. Yos hoped that all newly inaugurated officials will continue to improve their quality and integrity for the advancement of Undip in the future. “I hope that all of you will be able to understand, implement, evaluate, improve quality work and integrity. Carry out your duty well according to the oath,” he explained.
Furthermore, Prof. Yos advised to maintain the good name of Undip by not making regulations that would later trouble students. “Follow existing regulations, don’t make regulations that will make it difficult for students. Let’s try to maintain Undip’s good name, follow the rules, but also be full of sincerity,” explained Prof. Yos.
