Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. dispatched 2,658 students at the Diponegoro University Community Service (KKN) Team 1 Academic Year 2023/2024 Departure Ceremony, Thursday (4/1) at Widya Puraya Field, Undip Tembalang Campus.
“Alhamdulillah, you have to be grateful to be a student because you have the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained from college to provide benefits to society,” said Prof. Yos.
Furthermore, Prof. Yos advised KKN students spread across 33 sub-districts in 8 provincial districts in Central Java located in Pemalang, Pekalongan, Temanggung, Magelang, Boyolali, Klaten, Sukoharjo and Sragen to carry Undip’s big name while protecting it.
“Be proud to be part of a world-class university. Show the community that you are selected and qualified people. Show works based on scientific abilities and maintain integrity,” he stressed.
“Take care of your health and avoid practical politics, considering that this year is a political year. May God Almighty protect, love, provide safety and make your duties a success,” said Prof. Yos.
Meanwhile, in his report, the Head of the Service Center of Community Service (P2KKN) Kurniawan Teguh Martono, S.T., M.T. stated, “The implementation of Undip Community Service Team I for the 2023/2024 Academic Year starts from January 4 to February 9, 2024, with the theme ‘Healthy Election Literacy and Community Empowerment through Community Service activities’. Students will carry out activities consisting of multidisciplinary, scientific and social programs accompanied by 110 KKN accompanying lecturers,” he explained.
Data on the total number of students who took part in the KKN Team I departure on January 4-5, 2024, was 2,658 students from various disciplines (12 faculties). With a regional distribution, in Pemalang Regency there are 6 sub-districts (Watukumpul, Warungpring, Belik, Moga and Pulosari, Randudongkal); in Pekalongan Regency there are 3 Districts (Kajen, Karanganyar, Doro); in Temanggung Regency there are 3 Districts (Selopampang, Bulu, Tlogomulyo); in Magelang Regency there are 3 Districts (Ngablak, Pakis, Grabag); in Boyolali Regency there are 3 Districts (Wonosamodro, Wonosegoro, Klego); while in Klaten Regency there are 6 sub-districts (Pedan, Trucuk, Ceper, Cawas, Bayat, Wedi); in Sukoharjo Regency there are 6 Districts (Bendosari, Nguter, Sukoharjo, Bulu, Tawangsari, Weru); and in Sragen Regency there are 3 sub-districts (Tanon, Plupuh and Sukodono).
