Diponegoro National Hospital of UNDIP Held a Recitation in Welcoming Month of Ramadan 1442 H

In order to welcome the month of Ramadan 1442 H, Islamic Forum of Diponegoro National Hospital of Diponegoro University held a recitation with Ustadz Sayyid Hasan bin Alwi Al Aydrus with the theme “Ramadan is full of blessings, mercy and forgiveness”, on Saturday (10/4).

In his remarks, President Director of Diponegoro National Hospital, Dr. dr. Sutopo Patria Jati, M.M., M.Kes, expressed his hope that Covid-19 pandemic would pass soon and in carrying out fasting in the month of Ramadan this year will be done as well as possible.

Ustadz Sayyid Hasan bin Alwi Al Aydrus conveyed that there are seven levels of lust, namely Amarah, Lauwamah, Mulhamah, Mutmainah, Radhiah, Mardhiah, and Kamilah. Lust of Amarah or anger is the lust that makes a person want to do bad thing, and when they do it they are even proud. Meanwhile, people who are in the lust of Lauwamah already know between prohibited actions and good deeds. Mulhamah lust, at this level, when a person wants to do good deeds it feels heavy, but they have started to fear Allah’s wrath. At the level of Mutmainnah lust, a person is always kept away from anxiety and by the permission of Allah SWT they would feel cool at heart and their souls are at ease. The next lust is Radhiah or radiant lust, good or bad destiny would feel similar, their hearts are only for Allah and are pleased with all His provisions. Then Mardhiah lust, when people at this level of lust they would really love Allah SWT. Kamilah lust is the level of the prophets and messengers who are preserved from disgraceful deeds and Allah always watches and guides them.

“Hopefully this month of fasting we will be protected from all forms of lust, lust is not confined, but our own passions will educate us,” he said. “The Prophet Muhammad SAW also gave a testament to all his friends that someone should provide food for those who break their fasts. Hopefully we can all carry out his message even though only in a small amount of dates it will be rewarded with extraordinary enjoyment,” he concluded. (Linda-Public Relations)
