Undip Independent Exam admission path received a fairly large allocation, namely 50% of the total students accepted in academic year of 2021/2022 or the equivalent of 5,089 students.
The large quota for Independent Exam path certainly provides greater opportunities for prospective students to be accepted at state universities located in Tembalang area of Semarang City. Meanwhile, half of the other students are selected through National Entrance Selection for State Universities (Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri / SNMPTN), which is 20% and Joint Entrance Selection of State Universities (Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri / SBMPTN) by 30% of total quota. The basis for this policy is Article 6 of Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2020.
