Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences (PKIP) FKM Undip held a Health Promotion Media Expo on Thursday (15/05) at the Hall of Building D, Faculty of Public Health (FKM) Diponegoro University. The Health Promotion Media Expo is one of the events for exposure to the work of PKIP students in the Public Health Education Technology course, especially to the FKM Undip academic community.
This expo featured various works PKIP students developed, including Public Service Announcements (ILM), health education media, and health posters. This expo also presented a photobooth managed by PKIP students themselves.
Through this expo, students are expected to be able to present the health promotion media they have developed. In addition, this expo is a means of appreciation and to introduce the work of PKIP students to the general public, in which there is an educational function for expo visitors.
The health promotion media are planned to be used to support teaching, research, and community service activities. According to Aditya Kusumawati S.KM, M.Kes., Head of PKIP FKM Undip, a health promotion media expo is an effort to disseminate Health Promotion and Behavioral Science competencies through the media to support health programs in realizing optimal public health.
This expo invites extraordinary enthusiasm from visitors. The hope is that this expo can be held annually by inviting government agencies from the Semarang City Health Office and the Central Java Provincial Health Office. This expo was attended by Dr. Anung Sugihantono, M.Kes., former Director General of P2P of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, an extraordinary lecturer at PKIP FKM Undip.
“The forum is an expression room of learning outcomes and a means of learning from the community about ideas, works, or visualization of thoughts, ideas for educating the public,” concluded Dr. Anung Sugihantono, M.Kes. (Adellia)
