Marlin Space: Cool and Modern Facilities at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science UNDIP

The Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPIK) at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) now has a new, contemporary facility called Marlin Space. Marlin Space is the result of a collaboration between FPIK UNDIP and its alumni.

Strategically located within the FPIK campus and adjacent to the faculty canteen, Marlin Space offers a unique experience for the entire academic community of FPIK and UNDIP.

Marlin Space features a comfortable and modern café concept, with air-conditioned indoor facilities and a trendy outdoor area, often referred to as aesthetic. The menu is diverse and affordable, offering espresso-based drinks, tea-based drinks, milk-based drinks, and Marlin Space’s signature beverages that are authentic and have a unique taste. Additionally, there are various delicious light snacks such as croissants with multiple toppings, sandwiches, mix platters, and waffles to indulge visitors’ taste buds.

This new facility is also supported by a strong wi-fi network, making Marlin Space an ideal place for students to work on assignments or socialize with friends. With operating hours from 9 AM to 9 PM every day, Marlin Space is set to become a new favorite spot for FPIK students.

With the slogan “A Space to Connect, A Place to Grow,” Marlin Space aims to be a place for connection and growth.

The Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science UNDIP, Prof. Ir. Tri Winarni Agustini, M.Sc., Ph.D., hopes that this cool and contemporary new facility will boost students’ enthusiasm for their studies and make them feel more comfortable at FPIK UNDIP. She also invites the entire UNDIP academic community to visit Marlin Space, as it is open to everyone. With the presence of Marlin Space, it is hoped that students will be more motivated and experience a more lively and dynamic campus atmosphere.

This facility is not just a place to enjoy coffee but also a space to create, learn, and build closer relationships among students.
