The Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University (FH UNDIP), organized a socialization event aimed at establishing an Integrity Zone Towards a Corruption-Free Area (Zona Integritas Menuju Wilayah Bebas dari Korupsi / ZI WBK) on Monday, July 15, 2024, held in the Meeting Room of the Satjipto Rahardjo Building, Faculty of Law UNDIP.
The event was attended by the ZI WBK Team of the Faculty of Law UNDIP, consisting of faculty leaders, lecturers, and educational staff. Additionally, two speakers were invited: Dr. Abdul Syakur, S.T., M.T., and Dr. Anak Agung Sagung Manik Mahachandra, J.M., S.T., M.Sc. Both speakers are also members of the ZI WBK Team from the Faculty of Engineering UNDIP.
The first speaker, Dr. Abdul Syakur, S.T., M.T., emphasized the importance of commitment from all elements of the faculty in building an integrity zone. “Building ZI WBK is not only the responsibility of the leaders but also of the entire academic community. Everyone must play an active role and have high integrity to achieve this goal,” he stated.
The second speaker, Dr. Anak Agung Sagung Manik Mahachandra, J.M., S.T., M.Sc., explained the strategic steps needed to achieve ZI WBK. “We must start by strengthening good governance, transparency, and accountability. In addition, strict supervision and regular evaluations are necessary to ensure this program runs according to plan,” she explained.
This socialization is expected to provide a comprehensive understanding of the importance of ZI WBK and the steps that must be taken to achieve it. Moreover, this event aims to build an anti-corruption culture and improve the quality of public services within the Faculty of Law UNDIP.
The event concluded with a discussion and Q&A session. Participants actively asked questions and discussed various aspects of implementing ZI WBK with the speakers. Their enthusiasm showed a shared commitment to creating a corruption-free environment at the Faculty of Law UNDIP.
