UNDIP’s Achievements in the 2024 Abdidaya Ormawa Event: Spirit and Dedication

Bali, November 7-10, 2024 – The 2024 Abdidaya Ormawa Event was successfully held at Universitas Udayana (Unud), Bali, where 160 teams from 66 universities across Indonesia participated to showcase innovation and the spirit of transformation for national development. With the theme “Strengthening Student Organization Capacity and Student Soft Skills as Agents of National Development Transformation Based on Technological Innovation and Partnerships to Achieve an Advanced Indonesia,” the event aimed to appreciate the contributions of student organizations with significant community impact.

The event took place at Jl. Raya Kampus UNUD, Bukit Jimbaran, South Kuta, Badung, Bali, and featured eight award categories, including Implementing Teams, Student Organizations, Supervising Lecturers, Universities, and special awards for Posters, Videos, and Expo Stands.

Four Ormawa UNDIP Teams Qualify for Abdidaya Ormawa 2024

Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) sent four of its best teams to this event. The teams that qualified showcased innovations in various fields, from agriculture to maritime economy, including:

Student Organization of Animal Science Study Program UNDIP with the subproposal “KADIREJO MILENIAL AGRARIS (KERIS),” aimed at establishing a Young Farmers Studio in Kadirejo Village as a step toward the regeneration of farmers for modern and sustainable agriculture.

Mangrove Ecosystem Study Group of Teluk Awur (KeSEMaT) with the “Optimization of Coastal Community Productivity through Community-Based Coastal Resource Management (CB-CRM)” program to develop an excellent maritime village.

Islamic Economics Student Association of the Faculty of Economics and Business UNDIP with the subproposal “Poncoruso Smart Village,” focusing on community economic education in Poncoruso Village to create an innovative and independent village.

Student Association of the Department of Agriculture (HMD Agriculture) UNDIP, which focuses on “Optimization of Partnerships and Digital Marketing for Farmer Entrepreneurship Empowerment and Strengthening Economic Resilience in Tampingwirnarno Village.”

Excellent Achievements of the PPK Ormawa UNDIP Teams

At this event, PPK Ormawa UNDIP teams achieved success in several categories, including:

1st place for the Most Innovative Student Organization category, won by the Student Organization of Animal Science Study Program UNDIP

2nd place in the most comprehensive poster category (Education, persuasion, entertainment), won by KeSEMaT

2nd place for the Team with the Most Significant Impact and Program Development Continuity, won by HMD Agriculture UNDIP

 2nd place in the Most Active University category, awarded to Universitas Diponegoro

4th place in the Most Active Supervising Lecturer category, won by Daud Samsudewa, S.Pt., M.Si., Ph.D., IPM from the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences UNDIP.

Emotional and Enthusiastic Remarks from the Supervisors

With an emotional and proud voice, Dr. Nuswantoro Dwiwarno, S.H., M.H., conveyed a message to all students, “First, we express our gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala for blessing us all. This achievement has allowed the UNDIP delegation team to win several awards tonight. Although this is not a competition, it is a form of appreciation for the students who have been working hard all this time.” He added, “Always maintain the spirit to continue fostering PPK Ormawa so we can achieve victory again next year. UNDIP Champion!” he concluded with an optimistic tone.

Meanwhile, Ir. Daud Samsudewa, S.Pt., M.Si., Ph.D., IPM, who also received an award as the most active supervising lecturer, added, “Good morning! I am grateful to be the supervisor of the PPK Ormawa Student Organization of Animal Science Study Program UNDIP team. We are thankful for being able to bring extraordinary achievements to UNDIP. UNDIP Champion, UNDIP Champion, UNDIP, UNDIP, UNDIP, Champion of Abdidaya!” he exclaimed with enthusiasm, expressing his pride in his students’ achievements.

Closing the Abdidaya Ormawa 2024 Journey: Endless Spirit of Creation

The 2024 Abdidaya Ormawa event has concluded, but the spirit it left behind remains vibrant. For the UNDIP team, this was not just a competition but a valuable journey and experience in innovating for the community. This success proves that through student organizations, tangible contributions to the nation can be realized.
